Metabolomics Diagnostics is supporting the Preeclampsia Foundation in its efforts to ensure that every mother in every pregnancy knows the signs and symptoms of preeclampsia.
This year’s theme is “Preeclampsia: Any Pregnancy” – to emphasise that preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders can affect any woman during any pregnancy.
Preeclampsia rates are on the rise and are a leading cause of maternal and infant illness and death. All women need to know the risk factors for developing preeclampsia during pregnancy – and the fact that women with no risk factors may develop the disease.
