Attendance at SDMD Global 2020
Mr. Diarmuid Cahalane, Co-Founder & Director of Regulatory Affairs, Metabolomic Diagnostics will present at Software Design for Medical Devices Global (SDMD) forum in Berlin (17th -20th Feb 2020).
This 10th annual event is dedicated to medical device software design, regulatory compliance and cyber security. Case studies from medical device manufacturers will address the challenges around usability software development and risk management for device software.
Mr Cahalane will present a risk management workshop as a preconference workshop day entitled:
“Incorporating Recognised Standards for Risk Assessment into Software Design for Software as a Medical Device”
9-11am, Mon 17th Feb.
Commenting on the workshop event, Mr Cahalane said “The workshop will help to explain how rapid developments in big data analytics and machine learning can be harnessed for the benefits of patients with as little risk to patient safety as possible”
He will also give a talk on day two of the conference entitled:
“Regulatory Pathways for Software Design as a Medical Device (SAMD)”
