We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Jackie O’Brien to the position of Quality Co-ordinator at Metabolomic Diagnostics.
Ms O’Brien’s professional experience comprises of ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance to testing across a variety of scientific sectors in a regulatory environment. Jackie spent over a decade in the UK working for the NIBSC [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][National Institute for Biological Standards and Control] part of the MHRA [Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency]. Her role there through regulatory testing, ensured vaccines met appropriate specifications for market release. She was Deputy Study Director for several viral vaccines and managed ISO 17025 Quality System. Jackie also held a Lead auditor role. More recently, Jackie spent 3 years in Galway with CLS MedPharma where she managed both a GMP quality system and an ISO 17025 quality system for the Microbiology Department.

She added “As Quality Coordinator, Jackie will ensure the effective management of the company’s quality management system, maintaining high standards of quality performance, reliability and safety while, supporting the company’s product development goals”
